Jesus said in John 15:7, "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you."
Does this apply to the minister who is releasing the power of God or does it apply to the person needing a miracle?
It applies to both. If it only applies to the minister who is releasing the power of God, then automatically anyone who needs something from God does not need to abide in Jesus nor does that person need for the Lord's words to abide in them.
Besides this, the word also says in Hebrews 11:6, "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." This scripture verse applies to everyone and it pairs with Romans 10:17 which says, "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."
When we rightly divide the word of God, we see how both the minister and the one needing a touch from the Lord combine their faith to see the glory of God released. This is a marriage of faith.
